The Challenge
At 700 metres this was a long single pull with no intermediate access, running beneath a multi-level interchange carrying continuous traffic. Any steering drift would have been costly to correct at that length.
Our Approach
The profile was designed as one continuous bore with no intermediate pit, and steering was verified against surface tracking at short intervals across the full length so corrections stayed small and progressive rather than late and severe.
The Outcome
Completed in 41 days as a single uninterrupted pull-back, with the interchange operating normally throughout and final alignment confirmed within tolerance end to end.
