The Challenge
The route crossed a dense commercial street where surface excavation would have closed shopfront access during trading hours. The client also needed a duct bank sized for future capacity, not just the initial fibre count.
Our Approach
A single bore was profiled to carry a bundled multi-duct arrangement, sized with spare ways for later expansion. Work was staged from compact entry and exit pits set in low-impact positions clear of the shopfronts.
The Outcome
Delivered in 18 days with no trading day lost on the street above, and with spare duct capacity in place for the client's next two expansion phases.
